The Brief
East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) wanted an engaging and informative way to demonstrate its ability to provide non-emergency transport services in other counties, extending the services it already offered in Derbyshire and Northamptonshire.

What we did
We were able to develop a short film to showcase the existing services and to highlight that EMAS could provide similar support in other locations. The story was told through the eyes of an elderly patient and followed his full journey - from the initial phone call to operators, to being taken to hospital for his appointment and then back home again.
Filming was carried out on location over a couple of days and we turned the finished video around very quickly to meet EMAS’s tight deadline. In addition to the full film, a shorter tailored version for use on social media was created.
The result
The video was very well received by EMAS colleagues and generated a huge amount of positive feedback on social media.

“The video produced by MIH helped us to capture the excellent Patient Transport Service we provide in several areas of the East Midlands and tell the human stories of our patients and dedicated staff.”
